Registration in the TASCET Identity NetworkTM Prevents Identity Fraud
Second generation registration system eliminates the use of multiple, duplicate and alias identities and allows individuals to protect themselves from identity fraud.
Madison, WI (October 3, 2007) - TASCET, the Identity NetworkTM, today announced the introduction of its second generation registration system to prevent identity fraud. Registration in the Identity Network enables individuals to protect the ownership of their identities and allows financial institutions, healthcare organizations, government agencies and other public and private entities to provide services or credentials without the concern that their customers, patients or applicants are using a stolen or false identity.
As individuals lend their identity information to participating organizations in order to obtain identification cards, open new accounts or receive services, their identity is also registered within the Identity Network using an available biometric. This confirms to the organization within moments that the individual is using a true and unique identity and protects the identity ownership of the individual from that point forward. Imposters are unable to register in the Identity Network to receive credentials or services using the individual.s identity information.
"Registration of individuals in the TASCET Identity Network is a powerful new tool to diminish identity fraud by eliminating the use of multiple, alias or duplicate identities." said TASCET CEO Larry Aubol. "Our partners and technology providers enable us to deploy registration rapidly and within any existing or new identification system."
The Identity Network is a multi-modal biometric platform utilizing fingerprint, facial, iris, signature and voice biometrics to achieve the greatest performance possible. TASCET provides the highest-quality search, matching, alias elimination and duplicate discovery services to its clients. TASCET does not data mine or sell the information registered and does not monitor transactions. Registration does not require the collection of Social Security numbers or driver.s license numbers.
